2006 TZT COTTAGE
@ CRYSTAL BEACH

This is the second issue of a newsletter meant to keep Tau Zeta Tau Brothers in touch.  If You're planning to visit Buffalo, or travel to a place where a brother lives, let us know, and we'll publish the information so that you can connect up.
If you have any news to share with your brothers, let me know.  I'll try to update this newsletter once a year.

Standing: Leo Howard, Jim Gaglione, Laurie Zabaldo, and Sal Liotta
Seated: Charlie Zabaldo, Chuck Raccuia, Charlie Polito, Frank D'Arrigo, and Little Dick Vara
Big Sam Genco could not attend as he and Delores were in Sicily.

TZT Brothers and some friends met on September 21 at my cottage on the beach at Crystal Beach, Ontario. We talked, burned hot dogs, played some cards and discussed our roots (most of us) in Siclily.

Larry Cerasa brought two volumes of family trees of every family from Vallelunga.  Anyone out there who has ancestors from there, contact me.   Charlie Polito (Georgia), Sal Liotta (Binghamton), and Little Dick Vara (Cape Cod) were our "foreign" visitors.

We were joined by friends Russ Mascari and Tony Mascellino.  The other brothers who attended are listed below.

Charlie Zabaldo
Laurie Zabaldo
Jim Gaglione
Ange Coniglio
Leo Howard
John Gugino
Frank D'Arrigo
Bob Mangano
Chuck Raccuia

News and Notes

Bob Doldan has sold his California home and is moving "back East" to North Carolina. rldoldan@earthlink.net
Little Dick must be doing something right with his softball regimen.  He looks "buff" and was the hit of the LHS Class of '56 Reunion this summer.  He and Marie may become New York Staters again.  Maybe?

Sal Liotta is recovering well from his recent surgery, and brought that Binhamton specialty, "spiedies" to our cookout.

TZT Vandals?

Do you recognize this town?  How about the "TZT" painted on the water tower?  Didn't Miss Gilray warn us about being juvenile delinquents? (Click photos to enlarge, answers below.)

(The town is in Laurie Zabaldo's scale-model train setup. The initials are his kids'.)
