(What's a 'mikearonica'?)

       The Mike Aronica Bicycle Club was a shadowy group formed in the 1970's, for unknown purposes.  Its leader, Michael "Mike" Aronica was sometimes called 'the captain without a ship', and the club's members were called 'bikers without bikes'.  Although the group participated in some public service activities like the March of Dimes Benefit Ride of April 1978, pictured above, it is believed that this was a cover-up for secret trips to Allegany State Park, Watkins Glen, and even Cape Cod.  It is said that the group practiced some sort of weird worship of Perry Como.
