In 2020, due to the widespread coronavirus pandemic, the Awards Assembly and the graduation ceremony of Amherst Central High School seniors could not take place as usual.

But the award of the Angela Coniglio Memorial Scholarship still occurred, and ACHSís School Counselor Laurie LeGoff presented a plaque and a check for $1,320 (a new high amount) to senior Audrianna Mazzara

She was selected for the Italian Exchange program and travelled to Italy with her student host. Audrianna is a natural leader; intelligent, motivated and mature.  She is a responsible, balanced, and independent young woman who takes the initiative in all situations, with a friendly, positive disposition that endears her to all.

Audrianna was a four-year member of Field Hockey and Lacrosse teams and the captain of the ACHS Captainís Club and the Field Hockey team.   In Field Hockey, she was Second-team All-WNY, First team ECIC, and Co-MVP of the team.

She will major in Education/Special Education at St. John Fisher College of Rochester, where she'll play midfield on the  Cardinals' Field Hockey team.
